Family swim

We had so much fun with Aunt Kuhne and Uncle Rog last night. The girls took a long swim and Uncle Rog cooked on the grill. We had a wonderful visit. It was so nice to connect with those we love so much. We told fun, family stories and remembered Momee. Kuhne said, "Momee would not be happy that I just put the ketchup, mayo and mustard on the table in their containers rather than putting them in condiment bowls." I'm sure Momee wouldn't mind a bit. She would have enjoyed the laughter and family time. Thanks to the Rogers!

Papa to Magnolia

Papa came to visit. Got to see the girls swim. So fun to have him here. The girls made him special gifts. We told funny and sweet stories about his mom, Mary "Mimi" Moore. Had a very nice dinner and visit.

Papa shared with us how until he was eight-years-old he had no electricity or plumbing and Mimi cooked everything on a wood-burning stove including pies ~ namely a meringue pie that Papa ate the entire topping off of. Cherish your family history.
