A day in the life

One wild day. Not everyday is like this but I had to laugh. I needed three of me, but there was just one today! Thank goodness for a BlackBerry.

After midnight, 5 a.m. and throughout the day - work projects
6 a.m. up making breakfast and lunches plus made cookies from scratch for a program today but recipe was missing one item and cookies did not gel. Mimi, help!
7 a.m. scramble to get everyone's hair on the flatiron. 2 of the 3 did not like their leggings. Find alternative clothing and appropriate shoes
8 a.m. Big girls to school. Backpacks - check; Lunches - check. Homework done - check. Back home, get Bella ready, jump on the computer for a few
9:15 a.m. quick stop at bakery to replace fiasco from earlier in the a.m.
9:30 a.m. Bella to school
9:45 a.m. zip to Starbucks, computer work
11 a.m. to Bella's school for her program/chapel
Noon - Thanksgiving feast with Bella, tour of her new classroom
12:30 p.m. Target run for what we needed for afternoon
1:45 p.m. to big girls' school for a program they had, pow-wow with PTO/PTA moms on fundraisers and weekend schedules. There's an Aggie bonfire in our neighborhood this weekend.
3 p.m. car ride home from school
Snack and "Quick, everyone change clothes!"
4 p.m. Bella to dance
4:15 p.m. Bryn to horseback riding lessons
4:45 p.m. Blaine to dance
5 p.m. Pick up Bella from dance
5:20 p.m. Pick up Bryn from lessons
6:30 p.m. Pick up Blaine from dance
7 p.m. homework and dinner... quickly followed by showers
8 p.m. story-time and fall into bed
8:30 to 11 p.m. Work

All of this and I think only one of the girls had two minor meltdowns. Can you say exhausted? Yes, I know I look tired in these photos. Now you know why. I take a shower every morning and every evening just to get some energy. Chai tea and coffee alone do not do the trick.
